| In 1974 I bought a 1972 corvette. I drove it for a year then decided it
needed an overhaul. My friends and I tore it apart. Added a new front and rear
end. All new fenders and some other stuff. My friend John painted it Pearl White and it turned out really nice.A rebuilt 350 with a crossram intake with 2 650 holleys. Added the great corvette sidepipes and a set of N50's in the rear. It was a cool looking car. It survived until it went thru a tornado in 1989. Then sat in the driveway for a year. Then i gave it to my neighbor who rebuilt it. (I wish i kept it....Oh well). One of the pics shows my friend Norman with his truck. He build this great 1929 T-bucket. Maybe i can get him to put up a pic of it. |

| Ok Ok I know its not a car. Here are some pics of my last boat. It was a Cigarette. The smallest one made (20') aptly named Cigarette Butt. I bought it with my friend Phil and we used it for a few years. Rebuilt it every year. Damn boats. It had a 350 corvette motor to a Merccruiser #2 outdrive. One year we decided we needed to go faster so we rebuilt the motor. Added a tunnel Ram with 2 650 Holleys and direct port Nitrous injection. Boy did that sucker fly. I dont think I wanted to go any faster in a boat that size. As the last picture shows it survived the tornado of 1989. Weirdly where i took that pic from there was a garage. The boat stayed.....the garage went. |
